We elevate patient safety at the pre-clinical level while enabling seamless scalability throughout the entire development process.We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Co-op Student who is eager to apply academic knowledge to real-world quality and regulatory challenges while working within a multidisciplinary engineering and laboratory workplace.Expected term length: 8 months (January - August 2027)Full-time, on-site (40 hours/week)Location: Victoria, BCHourly rate for 3rd-year students: $24.99Hourly rate for 4th-year students: $26.14Key Responsibilities:Support the management and maintenance of ViVitro's ISO 17025 Quality Management SystemProvide quality assurance support for cardiovascular testing activities and equipment development projectsReview test protocols and test reports from the Laboratory Department to support compliance with ISO 17025 and regulatory requirementsReview, author, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and quality forms with guidance from the teamParticipate in internal audits, including preparation of audit documentation, reports,



and follow-up activitiesTrack and support resolution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR)Assist in the development, review, and implementation of quality manuals, procedures, standards, and engineering and laboratory work instructionsPerform document control activities, ensuring documents are reviewed, approved, released, and maintained in accordance with QMS requirementsPerform document archiving and ensure record retention requirements are metCommunicate procedural changes and updates across departments, including Engineering Services, Product Development, and OperationsSupport other QA initiatives and related duties as assignedQualifications:Currently completing a post-secondary program in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, with graduation expected in the near term.Working knowledge or academic exposure to Quality Management SystemsFamiliarity with ISO 17025:2017 requirements is a strong advantageExperience or coursework related to mechanical testing is an assetEnrollment in or completion of a Quality Assurance certificate program is an assetDemonstrated willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesInterest in quality, compliance,
