Insight Global is seeking a Senior Commercial Underwriter to join a leading commercial insurance organization in Vancouver, BC on a full-time basis. This individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex commercial accounts while driving recent business growth across British Columbia. The role combines technical underwriting expertise with strong market-facing business development responsibilities, making it ideal for a relationship-driven underwriter who enjoys being actively engaged with brokers and clients.

The successful candidate will regularly meet with brokers and clients, attend industry events, participate in networking opportunities, and represent the organization throughout the BC market. They should enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing creative underwriting solutions for complex commercial risks.



7+ years of experience in commercial insurance with experience as an Underwriter or Broker Experience underwriting multinational or globally operating organizations, strong relationships with regional and national commercial insurance brokers Experience underwriting complex risks within industries such as Construction & Contracting, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Warehousing, or Transportation Experience managing accounts ranging from approximately $25K to $1M+ in premium As part of our recruitment process, AI-assisted tools may be used to support candidate screening, resume review, interview note-taking, and application evaluation.
