ParaMed’s HSW Trainee Program prepares you for Home Support Worker duties through free and paid training. The three-week in-class program teaches practical skills for supporting people at home. After graduation, permanent positions are available in Dryden and Fort Frances, with eligibility for full-time hours and perks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Travel between patient residences for several home visits daily
- Prepare meals and assist during mealtimes
- Complete basic housekeeping duties in patients’ homes
- Provide companionship and support patient well-being
- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Compassion and strong listening skills
- Ability to visit residences within designated areas
- Ability to work every other weekend
