Hot Tub Service & Delivery Technician — Hot Tub Express

Overview

Hot Tub Express is seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team. This varied role includes servicing and repairing hot tubs, delivering and positioning new tubs, and setting up and collecting rental tubs. We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys practical work, solving problems, and providing friendly customer service. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

- Deliver, unload, move, and position hot tubs safely using appropriate equipment and team lifting procedures.
- Set up and collect rental tubs, including filling, draining, cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing them for the next customer.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hot tub equipment, including pumps, heaters, jets, plumbing, and filtration systems, within your training and qualifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, water changes, filter cleaning, and seasonal opening and winterizing services.
- Assist with hot tub installation and startup, coordinating with licensed trades where required.
- Explain basic hot tub operation, water care, and rental instructions to customers.
- Prepare tubs, tools, supplies, and delivery equipment before leaving for scheduled jobs.
- Record service work, parts used, mileage,



and delivery or rental details accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized service vehicles, tools, rental equipment, and work areas.
- Follow secure lifting, loading, transport, and equipment-handling procedures.

Experience & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with hot tubs, plumbing, equipment repair, moving, or deliveries is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence and safe driving record.
- Experience driving with a trailer is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and moving bulky equipment with appropriate assistance.
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather and travel to customer locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional communication and respect for customers’ property.
- Dependability, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hot tub experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train a reliable, mechanically inclined person who is eager to learn. Pay: $30.00 per hour
