This position will require 2 days per week in our London,ON office subject to change with future business needs. A typical day will have you: Working closely with teams to design best fit solutions to business and technical challenges.

Providing experienced leadership and technical direction to software engineering teams.

Improving the efficiency of building and maintaining our components through automation and enablement.

Required Experience: 8+ years of experience in software design and development of complex systems.

Exceptional Problem-solving and Conflict Resolution skills (technical & human).

Passionate about Learning and Inspiring/Coaching others.

Creative, "Big Picture" Thinker.

Previous working experience with a broad range of AWS services.





Experience performing trade-off analysis to inform decision-making processes.

Knowledge of Full Stack software development.

Experience with Back-End languages (such as Java, Kotlin, C#, Go and Python).

Experience with Front-End languages (such as JavaScript, Node.js, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3).

Experience with modern front-end JavaScript Libraries (such as Reactjs, Vue or Angular).

Experience with client/server architecture and building APIs and services using REST or GraphQL.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and BigData is an advantage.

Experience with Relational and NoSQL database systems (such as MySQL, Mongo, DynamoDB or Elasticsearch).

Experienced with developing in AWS cloud environment.

Experience with application monitoring and alerting systems and standards (such as Recent Relic, OTEL, CloudWatch, ITIL, Prometheus, PagerDuty).

Knowledge of microservices architectural pattern.

Experienced with full SDLC development including design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade and support.

Ability to provide leadership and mentor engineers through complicated technical challenges.

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Preferred Experience:



Experience with diverse architectural patterns and best practices.

Experience with architecture to support SEO and Site Speed.

Experience with A/B testing.

Supported large-scale, common applications or services in multiple markets and time zones and languages (e.g.

Experience with software development using AI Coding Toolsets (such as Co-Pilot, Claude Code) and AI SDLC Frameworks (such as AIDLC).
