Lead loss prevention at SportChek by protecting products and supporting customer awareness across the store. This full time role emphasizes retail security and associate coaching.

Reporting to the Store General Manager, the Store Loss Prevention Lead reduces internal and external loss. You will maintain a visible presence during high-risk hours, ensure LP Program execution, and communicate incidents with Regional Loss Prevention. The role also includes coaching associates on acknowledgment responsibilities and current LP Hotspots.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain loss prevention presence throughout front-of-store areas
- Monitor departments during identified high-risk hours
- Ensure customers are acknowledged throughout the store
- Secure products using LP tagging standards




- Log incidents and share information with Regional Loss Prevention

Requirements:

- Six-plus months of previous retail experience considered an asset
- Twelve-plus months as Loss Prevention Officer considered an asset
- Experience training and mentoring employees
- Ability to lift and move containers up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma and valid CPR and First Aid training
