You will be responsible for making accurate calls, managing player conduct, and ensuring a safe and sportsmanlike environment for all participants.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of specific sport rules, excellent judgment, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Make fair and consistent calls on infringements, points, and game progression. Manage player behavior and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
Ensure the safety of participants by monitoring play and intervening when hazards arise.
Prepare pre-game assessments and post-game reports as required.
Certification and demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations for at least one specific sport (e.g., soccer, basketball, rugby, cricket). Previous experience as a sports referee or umpire at a competitive level. Physical fitness and the agility to keep pace with the game.
