Lead secondary mathematics learning as a Numeracy Facilitator with Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic, supporting teachers through collaborative professional learning.

This flexible part-time system special assignment teacher position supports Grades 9–12 mathematics. You will help implement the revised Ontario Mathematics curriculum and advance the Board’s Math Achievement Action Plan. The work also supports the Board Improvement and Equity Plan for Student Achievement and Well-Being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop teacher capacity in mathematics teaching and learning
- Support Grade 9 de-streamed mathematics curriculum implementation
- Coach teachers through cooperative, job-embedded professional learning
- Co-plan and co-teach mathematics with other educators




- Use assessment data to inform mathematics instruction

Requirements:

- Basic qualifications for Intermediate and Senior Mathematics divisions
- Honour Specialist in Mathematics
- Knowledge of Grade 9 de-streamed Mathematics curriculum
- Experience facilitating mathematics-related professional learning
- Effective communication, collaboration, and planning skills
