With four decades in business, Polygon has earned the trust of thousands of families by committing to quality design, sound construction, and exceptional customer service.ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Controller, the Accountant's primary responsibilities will be Polygon's day-to-day accounting and reporting for our residential and commercial Property Management services. The ideal candidate is professional, highly motivated, and enthusiastic. Responsibilities include:Recording of tenant rents and deposits, property expense and tax remittancesProcessing disbursements to owners and generating monthly statements to ownersPreparation of monthly bank and trust account reconciliations, CAM allocation and budgetsLiaising with our Property Management team on day-to-day mattersPreparation of annual cashflow statements and tax forms for ownersPerform project accounting journal entries, analytics, reconciliations,



and internal & external reporting requirementsPrepare closing documents for residential unit completions and coordinate required supporting documentationSupporting the accounting team with the preparation and documentation of audit support as required for external and regulatory auditsQualifications and AttributesBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalentCPA student or intent to pursue CPA designation is an assetAbility to demonstrate effective organizational skills in order to meet timelinesEntry‐level to 2 years of accounting or finance experience; real estate or propertymanagement exposure is an asset.Strong work ethic and takes pride in quality of deliverables to both internal and external stakeholdersExhibit impactful problem-solving skills and detail orientated work.Robust aptitude for working within Excel and CopilotExperience with Acumatica, Yardi and Salesforce an assetAs a leader in the industry, Polygon offers a competitive compensation program, commensurate with experience, along with an exceptional corporate culture.Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000
