Operate boilers and HVAC systems at The Amazing Brentwood as a 4th Class Engineer in Burnaby, with rotating morning and evening shifts.

SHAPE seeks a 4th Class Engineer to maintain, operate, and repair equipment within the site’s District Energy System. The full time position includes monitoring building systems, responding to service calls, and supporting emergencies. Candidates need 6–12 months of experience, heat pump knowledge, automated work order system experience, and DDC systems experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor, and repair boilers and HVAC equipment
- Perform boiler chemical testing and maintenance
- Inspect pumps, sprinkler systems, fountains, and related rooms




- Complete preventative maintenance through the Angus work order system
- Respond to tenant requests, emergencies, and equipment issues

Requirements:

- Minimum 6–12 months’ 4th Class Engineer experience
- Experience with heat pumps and DDC systems
- Automated work order system experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability and willingness to learn
