Support resident comfort at AgeCare Mount Royal as a Health Care Aide in Calgary, using personal care and protected transfer techniques. This temporary 0.8 FTE role is based at 1813 9 Street SW.

As a Health Care Aide, you will provide personal care, mobility assistance, feeding support, and routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction. You will follow care plans, NCP requirements, water temperature controls, and appropriate safety equipment. Your work supports residents throughout daily routines and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bath, shower, and wash residents according to NCP requirements
- Transfer residents using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Assist feeding according to each resident’s care plan diet




- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Accompany residents to meals, therapy, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active registration with CLHA
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
