Pay: $26.00 / hour total ($20.00/hr base + $6.00/hr ECEWE)

Aubrey Daycare Centre is a warm, inclusive, and community-oriented daycare offering small group care (8 children per group) in a beautiful, purpose-built facility for children aged Birth to 3 years. Our philosophy centres on supporting each child’s unique developmental journey through play-based learning, nurturing relationships, and strong partnerships with families.

We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECE or Infant/Toddler certified) to join our team in a Casual Substitute capacity. If you are dedicated to early childhood education and thrive in a supportive, respectful environment, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate,



play-based learning experiences.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment supporting physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
- Support children with daily routines (feeding, diapering, rest time, and transitions).
- Observe and document children’s progress and communicate warmly with families.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a strong workplace culture.
- Ensure full compliance with Licensing regulations and centre policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid BC ECE or Infant/Toddler (IT) Certification (Required)
- Current First Aid Certification (Child-specific / Emergency Childcare First Aid)
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Passion for play-based learning and early childhood development

Job Details:
