Deliver polished guest service at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino in Calgary as a Host, using POS systems and solid communication.
Reporting to the Front of the House Shift Supervisor, this Host greets and seats guests across foodservice outlets. You will review specials, understand menus, and assign seating fairly. The position supports managers, supervisors, servers, and cashiers while maintaining service standards and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly across foodservice outlets
- Monitor and assign seating fairly and consistently
- Review daily specials, promotions, menus, and operating hours
- Maintain cashier and hostess station supplies
- Communicate issues requiring Front of House assistance
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Pro Serve Certification
- One to two years’ large-volume foodservice experience
- Required experience using POS systems
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Availability for shift work and prolonged standing
