Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor for Personal Care Attendants to lead and oversee caregiving teams in a senior care environment. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality care, and maintaining a compassionate atmosphere for residents. Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Personal Care Attendants, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols
- Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor resident care to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements
- Assist with medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Conduct staff training sessions on topics such as dementia care, medication management, and emergency procedures
- Assist with budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
- Address resident concerns promptly and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals




- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to senior care facilities
- Lead efforts in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is highly preferred
- Strong background in nursing, senior care, dementia care, or related fields
- Proven supervising experience with leadership qualities that motivate teams
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and staffing schedules effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in providing high-quality elder care
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- Relevant certifications or licenses in nursing or caregiving are advantageous but not mandatory
