Support hospital laundry services at Yarmouth Regional Hospital using infection control knowledge and careful linen handling. This is a casual hourly part-time assignment.

Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the Laundry Worker supplies clean, sanitary linen to hospital departments. The position involves collecting soiled linen, maintaining orderly linen rooms, and processing personal resident clothing. Grade 12, GED, or equivalent work experience is required. French is preferred as an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clean, sanitary linen to hospital departments
- Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments
- Maintain clean, safe, orderly linen rooms
- Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label clothing

Requirements:

- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- French language competency preferred as an asset
- Availability for diverse shifts and holidays
- Ability to work 30 hours biweekly
