Job Title: Children's Ministry Teacher/Childcare Worker – Casual/Part-Time

About Us: Cornerstone Christian Church of God (CCCG) is a Christ-centered community in Edmonton, Alberta. Our CN Kids ministry serves children from infancy through age 11 in a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment.

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Children's Ministry Teacher/Childcare Worker on a casual, part time basis.

Location: 9249 50 Street NW, Edmonton, AB (Capilano area – Ottewell/Kenilworth communities). Position will extend to our new church location (Allard Way area - Pleasantview community).

Schedule: Must be available Thursdays, Sundays, and once a month, Friday evening. On occasion, there will be additional events added to the schedule. Must also be available to work on the evening of December 31st.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children aged infancy to 11 years
- Deliver age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons and activities that support spiritual growth
- Assist with program planning and implementation for children's ministry events
- Support children with diverse needs by adapting teaching methods as required
- Collaborate with staff,



volunteers, and ministry leadership
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
- Follow all child protection, health, and safety policies
- Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and sanitation

Qualifications:

- Background in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field (diploma or degree an asset)
- Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or ministry setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Police Information Check / Vulnerable Sector Check is required
