Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces
- Assist in food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and efficiently
- Support team members in various restaurant tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and restaurant operations is a plus
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team
Pay: $18.00 per hour
