FYidoctors Newmarket seeks an Optometric Assistant for an existing vacancy. You will welcome patients, support comprehensive eye care, and guide eyewear choices. The position requires at least three years of optical experience, with CCOA designation preferred. Solid communication, technology, and multitasking skills are important.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and manage clinic check-in and check-out
- Perform pre-testing supporting comprehensive eye care
- Educate patients about lifestyle-based eyewear options
- Interpret prescriptions and complete frame measurements




- Coordinate appointments, billing, payments, and contact lens orders

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of optical experience required
- Past or current CCOA designation preferred
- Proficiency with technology, computers, and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities collaboratively and proactively
