What you’ll be doing:

- Install, repair, replace, and maintain long haul aerial and underground fiber optic cable systems across highway corridors, railway easements, and utility right of ways.
- Execute all high risk field operations in strict compliance with Safe Work Practices, provincial regulations, and company safety procedures using required personal protective equipment.
- Foster positive crew communication, solid team morale, and seamless collaboration to ensure safe, efficient site execution.




- Respond promptly to urgent network outages and participate in emergency repair operations.
- Replace aging utility poles, transfer active aerial infrastructure, and tension support strand while maintaining mandatory utility separation clearances.
- Liaise professionally with client representatives, regulatory inspectors, general contractors, and landowners throughout project execution.
- Complete additional field operations and technical assignments as required.

What you need:

- Experience in Aerial construction (pole change-out’s, setting anchors, new build and maintenance) is an asset.
- Class 5 license + Air endorsement.
- Clean criminal record check.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather, along with additional hours as needed (including weekends).
- Participate in emergency call out work, when/if required.
- Must be able to work at heights.

Pay: $27.05-$41.62 per hour
