BIS Safety Software is a SaaS company on a mission to change how organizations manage safety, learning, and compliance, and the team behind that mission matters just as much as the product. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our QA team and adding another QA Analyst to help strengthen our testing capabilities. In this role, you'll own manual and exploratory testing for new features and releases on the BIS platform.

It's about understanding what a feature is supposed to do, stepping off the expected path, and finding the problems nobody thought to write a test case for. You'll write the test plans, design the cases, run and maintain our existing automated suites, and work side by side with developers to get issues reproduced and fixed. This is an onsite role based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.

Test new features and releases manually, with exploratory coverage that goes well beyond the written script Design test cases for new functionality, including the edge cases the requirements didn't mention Run and maintain our automated test suites , keeping them healthy as the product changes Prepare test data and support regression testing across releases Use AI agents to draft test plans, find edge cases, maintain automated tests, investigate failures, and improve release workflows, verifying everything they produce. Put AI tools to work to speed up test design, documentation,



and execution Shape how we test by contributing to QA team discussions on coverage and process improvement Prioritize under pressure , weighing business priority and risk 2 to 3 years of hands-on QA experience , or formal QA training paired with at least a year of real-world testing ~ A solid grasp of manual test case design, regression testing, and exploratory testing ~ Experience with API testing and API testing tools ~ An understanding of automation concepts and experience running or maintaining automated test scripts (writing them from scratch isn't required) ~ Bonus points if you have: Experience with TestRail or a similar test case management tool Familiarity with Git or other version control Some JavaScript or TypeScript Mobile testing experience, especially iOS edge cases Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance and disability insurance Health spending account Flexible working hours On-the-job training and growth opportunities Free on-site parking $BIS Safety Software has been headquartered in Sherwood Park, Alberta, since 2006.
