Lead commercial underwriting teams in downtown Toronto, combining construction expertise with coaching, broker partnerships, and hybrid leadership. This Underwriting Manager oversees six to ten underwriters across associate through specialist levels. You will manage mid-market construction and contracting accounts while guiding evaluation, selection, negotiation, pricing, and documentation. Reporting to a Director, you will support retention, profitable growth, technical decisions, and operational change. Key Responsibilities:

Two or more years leading underwriters Construction and contracting underwriting experience Commercial property and CGL technical depth Strong broker relationship and service skills CIP, FCIP, or equivalent designation completed or in progress Apply commercial package expertise, people leadership, and broker relationship skills to construction underwriting in downtown Toronto.
