About The Role

We are seeking a motivated mid- to senior-level Securities Lawyer to join a well-established legal practice in Montreal. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including investment fund managers, brokers, advisors, public and private mutual funds, and related service providers.

This is an excellent prospect for a lawyer with securities law experience who is looking to contribute to complex transactions, provide strategic legal advice, and work collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on securities law and regulatory matters.
Prepare and review investment fund documentation.
Handle registrations and filings with relevant regulatory authorities.
Interpret and apply applicable securities legislation and regulations.
Support securities and capital markets transactions.
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients.




Collaborate with colleagues and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in securities law.
Experience preparing investment fund documentation.
Experience with regulatory registrations and filings.
Strong understanding of applicable securities legislation and regulatory requirements.
Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Solid analytical skills, sound judgment, and business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to work.
Ability to develop practical and creative solutions to complex legal matters.
