Role Description The Line Cook is a full-time, on-site role based at our North Vancouver, BC location. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, portion control, and timely service. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and stocking stations, cooking and plating dishes, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, and supporting other kitchen team members during busy service periods. The Line Cook will assist with prep work, manage ticket times, follow health and safety regulations,



and help with closing and cleaning duties at the end of shifts. This position works closely with the kitchen leadership to maintain quality and efficiency throughout service.
Qualifications
Experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role, with strong basic cooking and food preparation skills.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices, sanitation standards, and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently on a line in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to follow directions and collaborate with kitchen staff.
Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a warm kitchen environment.
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; culinary training or certification is an asset.
