We are a personal injury law firm seeking a Law Clerk to become a part of our team! You will provide overall clerical support to our lawyers.

Responsibilities:

- Managing client files from open to close
- Communicate with clients on a daily basis, provide any developments on their file, answer questions, etc.
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents: pleadings, summaries, motions, settlements, pretrial memos, etc.
- Preparing AOD, request productions and undertakings
- Review files and productions received
- Scheduling EOD, mediations and court appointments
- Manage and maintain lawyer calendars
- Maintain and update electronic filing system
- Additional tasks as required

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

- 3+ years experience working as law clerk (plaintiff personal injury considered an asset)
- Law Clerk and/or Paralegal Diploma
- Familiarity with legal research, case management software and e-filing systems
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
