6 Month Contract + Extension 4 Days onsite, GTA 37.5hrs / Week Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.

Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and backend services.

Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django .

Experience working with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, or similar).

Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

Experience with Git, source control management, and CI/CD pipelines.

Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Experience writing unit tests and supporting application reliability.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work within Agile development teams.

Nice-to-Have Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.

Experience building microservices and event-driven applications.

Knowledge of financial services or capital markets environments.

Exposure to Murex or other enterprise financial platforms.

Familiarity with Dev

Ops practices and automation tooling.
