Experience coordinating Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Legal, and external financial advisors.

Executive stakeholder management and project governance expertise. PMP or equivalent project management certification. CPA or accounting/finance operational experience as a strong preference.

My recommendation: When sourcing candidates, prioritize Senior Finance Project Managers from data center companies, infrastructure investment firms, real estate investment organizations, and large enterprises with JV or M&A; transaction experience. A general IT Project Manager without financial transaction experience is unlikely to be a robust match.
