Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a Commercial Account Assistant to join our Small Business Solutions (SBS) Team!The successful candidate will provide administrative support on new and renewal accounts in partnership with Service Consultants to ensure client retention and timely customer service. You are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills that will enable you to put together solid solutions for our clients.What you will do:Work closely with Service Consultants and Small Business Sales Consultants to provide support on policy changes, renewals, new business, proposals, follow ups, binders, slips, finance contracts and scanning documentsEnsure special attention is paid to timelines on preparation of liability slips, memorandums of insurance, certificates of insuranceSupport and update documentation in the Broker Management System (EPIC)Manage and respond to emails from Commercial Account Assistant inbox/queuePrioritize work received from (and other duties as assigned) by Team Leader or ManagerWhat you will bring:RIBO license or ability to obtainHigh school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an assetCustomer-centric, friendly and professional at all timesExceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office productsProfessional, responsive,
