Job Description 6C Oncology is a 36 bed medicine unit.

We provide exemplary patient and family centered care to patients with both an oncology diagnosis and other patients with general medicine diagnoses.

We have a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, dietitian and discharge planner who collaborate to provide safe, high quality care in a timely fashion to our patient population Qualifications Halton Healthcare endeavors to hire individuals who are competent in their chosen profession and who exemplify our mission, vision and values of accountability, respect and compassion which guide our individual behaviours and attitudes.

Must be certified in chemo and biotherapy administration or a commitment to complete within 8 months Ability to manage a variety of patients conditions across the life span Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire Recent acute care experience required.
