JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE OR EXPLORATION CAMP, in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP.

WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight or shuttle service out of certain locations), MEALS, &

- ACCOMMODATIONS when at site!

SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED (11-hour days)

- WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG &

- ALCOHOL TEST.

We are hiring 3rd cooks for our remote Northern Saskatchewan mining or exploration sites.

Duties &

- Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of food for menu preparation.
- Prepare food to meet quality standards.
- Carry out directives of Chef or designate as requested.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
- Maintain an orderly and clean environment.
- Ensure all food items remain stocked.
- Set up front line for meal service as required.
- Serve the meal lines during meal service periods
- Tear down line, put away food, including cleaning and refilling steam table as needed.




- Areas of responsibility may include breakfast, protein prep, salad prep, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Completion of a recognized professional cooking course would be considered an asset.
- 1 year cooking experience in a busy kitchen environment.
- A valid food protected certificate is an asset but not required (we provide training & certification).
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player who works well with others.
- Physically able to perform the assigned duties.
- MUST be able to work compressed workweeks.
- You must be prepared to work at site during holidays & weekends.
- You must be fit for duty & able to safely fulfill the job requirements in a remote fly-in setting.
