QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy.

Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Physiotherapist.

Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

Minimum of two (2) years' pediatric experience.

Minimum of 75 hours of post graduate coursework related to pediatric patients and/or 6 months clinical experience with medically fragile infants, mobility and positioning, developmental care, tests and measures.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Skills And Abilities Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in groups, one-on-one and in writing.

Demonstrated clinical competency in the field of physiotherapy.

Demonstrated clinical competency working with pediatric patients including adolescents,



children, and infants including in the NICU.

Demonstrated ability to organize written and verbal clinical presentations, educational programs and materials Demonstrated ability to train and monitor assistants, family members, and other caregivers in carrying out services to the child.

Demonstrated ability to organize time and responsibilities and to work independently.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of Physiotherapy in family-centered approach to care.

Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities in collaboration with others.

Demonstrated ability to critically appraise research evidence.

Ability to operate related equipment.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
