Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications
· CWB certification with five years’ experience in oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG) is an asset
. Able to weld stainless steel and aluminum alloys
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality standards
· Must possess high school diploma
Please note that to be a candidate for this position; you must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.
Essential Duties
· Interpret welding process specifications, blueprints, manuals and processes
· Operate manual, semi-automated and fully automated welding equipment
· Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding
· Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
· Layout patterns
· Comply with company Health & Safety rules and regulations in accordance with the Act
· Other duties as required
Must be able and willing to obtain Security Clearance if required
