Lead transit business services for the City of Barrie, applying financial administration and revenue management expertise at the Barrie Transit Garage. This position includes a hybrid program that may allow one remote day weekly for eligible employees.

The Supervisor of Business Services leads financial administration, corporate reporting, procurement support, contract administration, and business analysis for Transit and Parking Strategy. The role supports budgeting, financial reporting, business planning, and informed decisions while supervising the Transit Revenue Administrator. It also directs daily fare revenue handling and strengthens internal controls.

Direct fare counts, reconciliations, deposits, and reporting

Improve processes supporting accountable transit operations

Requirements

Four-year degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline

Five years performing related responsibilities with supervisory experience

Knowledge of municipal procurement and accounting policies

Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite computer literacy

Valid Ontario Class G licence and satisfactory criminal record check
