WE’RE HIRING: TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

Rebel Line Hauls | Brampton, Ontario | Full-Time

Rebel Line Hauls is seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator to secure consistent freight opportunities, develop customer relationships and manage daily fleet operations across local GTA and cross-border Midwest U.S. routes.

Responsibilities

- Source and secure profitable freight through brokers, carriers and direct customers.
- Develop recurring business and dedicated lanes within the GTA and between Ontario and the Midwest U.S.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service terms.
- Coordinate truck assignments, driver schedules, pickups and deliveries.
- Plan outbound and return loads to minimize empty kilometres and downtime.
- Coordinate cross-border shipment documentation with drivers and customs brokers.
- Monitor trip profitability and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Communicate with customers and drivers to ensure reliable service.

Requirements:




- Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation dispatch, freight booking or fleet coordination.
- Experience with local GTA and cross-border Midwest U.S. routes.
- Proven ability to secure freight and generate new business.
- Knowledge of border-crossing procedures, customs documentation and applicable hours-of-service requirements.
- Knowledge of CN and CPKC (CP Rail) operations, intermodal transportation and container drayage is an asset.
- Established broker, carrier or shipper relationships are an asset.
- Solid negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with load boards, dispatch software and Microsoft Excel.
