Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their Sherwood Park team on a contract-to-permanent basis.

This in-office role will oversee a high-volume accounts payable function, lead an established team, and support process improvements within a deadline-driven setting.

Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and support the accounts payable team in daily operations.

Oversee high-volume invoice processing and weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely vendor payments.

Assist with hands-on processing, manual entries, and complex exceptions as needed.

Manage workloads and priorities during peak periods, including month-end.

Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to procedures and workflows.

Prepare accounts payable reports and support dashboard development using Excel.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, vendor, and payment discrepancies.

Support operational changes while maintaining team productivity and service levels.
