Job Title: Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior Location: Toronto Work Model: Onsite Duration: 11 months Extension: 1 Time Project Description The Business Experience Platform (BXP) has successfully launched its minimum viable product (MVP), establishing the core digital foundation for a simpler and more consistent way for businesses to access government services.

The next phase will expand BXP and onboard additional government services, building on the successful MVP launch, therefore a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist plans and performs functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and other quality assurance activities needed to support release readiness.

Must Haves Experience planning and executing end-to-end testing for complex digital solutions.

Experience with functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, and acceptance testing.

Experience automating UI, API, service, or database tests.

Experience testing cloud applications, microservices, and system integrations.

Ability to coordinate business and technical teams during testing and defect resolution.

Coordinate test environments, accounts, tools, data, and supporting resources.

Maintain requirements traceability and test-coverage reporting.

Lead defect triage and monitor defects through resolution and closure.

Validate accessibility, security, performance, reliability, and integration requirements.

Report quality indicators, testing progress, outstanding defects, and release risks.

Deliverables Provide evidence-based recommendations on production readiness.

Experience & Skill Set Requirements Defect Management and Quality Reporting - 25% Experience managing defects, traceability, coverage, metrics, and release-readiness assessments.

Communication and Collaboration - 15% Excellent analytical, reporting, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
