LANGUAGES English EDUCATION College/CEGEP or equivalent experience EXPERIENCE No experience (will train) ON SITE Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Professionalism in customer service Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
