We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Trucking Dispatcher to join our growing transportation company. We operate 53’ dry vans and reefers throughout Canada and the United States.
We need someone who understands the trucking industry, can work independently, and knows how to keep trucks moving efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate drivers across Canada and the U.S.
- Source freight, negotiate rates, and book loads.
- Plan routes, manage appointments, and minimize downtime.
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers.
- Monitor loads, equipment availability, and Hours of Service.
- Handle delays, breakdowns, and daily operational challenges.
- Manage cross-border shipments and transportation paperwork.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of trucking dispatch experience.
- Experience with dry vans and reefers.
- Knowledge of Canada/U.S. cross-border operations.
- Experience with load boards and freight negotiations.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
