AspiringIT is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading nuclear engineering services client supporting Ontario's CANDU fleet.
What you'll do Lead mechanical design and engineering change packages for station systems and components
Work on pressure-boundary equipment: piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels
Prepare specifications, design calculations and stress/qualification reviews
Support fabrication, field installation and site issue resolution
Mentor and verify the work of junior engineers
What you bring Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of experience, ideally in nuclear or power generation
CANDU design and engineering change experience
Working knowledge of CSA N285.0, ASME Section III and CSA N286
Nice to have Welding and NDE knowledge
Must be eligible for nuclear site security clearance and export-control requirement
