Support MES, Ignition, and industrial integration at Magna, connecting shop-floor equipment with Modatek’s information systems. This regular position supports manufacturing operations.
The MES and Industrial Integration Analyst plans, develops, integrates, supports, and improves manufacturing execution systems and industrial data pathways. You will work with Information Systems, Controls and Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, ERP, infrastructure, data, and providers. Key technologies include Ignition, Kepware, OPC, SQL, APIs, dashboards, and approved IIoT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, configure, test, deploy, and support approved MES applications
Support Ignition, reporting, traceability, labelling workflows, and manufacturing functions
Maintain approved data flows, tags, mappings, schemas, and validation rules




Translate manufacturing requirements into governed technical specifications
Maintain architecture, interface, recovery, support, and deployment documentation
Requirements: Post-secondary education in automation, robotics, controls, engineering, or information systems
Experience with MES or industrial applications preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, testing, traceability, and structured troubleshooting
Awareness of networking, services, databases, cybersecurity, backup, and monitoring
Ability to support approved after-hours deployments, incidents, or production recovery
Apply MES, Ignition, OPC, SQL, and industrial integration expertise to support reliable manufacturing systems at Magna.
