Acting asa partner to managers and employees, this individual promotesprevention, reduces risks, and supports the continuous improvementof OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) practices. Morespecifically, you will contribute to the followingchallenges:Develop a prevention culture:Promote a prevention-focused approach throughout the plant andensure the implementation and follow-up of the plant’s health andsafety programs.Identify OHS risks: Collaboratewith all stakeholders (production, maintenance, employees, humanresources, and the union) to identify workplace accident andoccupational illness risks.Implement sustainable OHSsolutions: Recommend effective actions to achieve accidentreduction targets, develop an annual action plan, and ensure itsfollow-up.Maintain a strong OHS presence:Interact with all levels of the organization and maintain an activepresence on the production floor to support operations, conductinspections, and participate in accident investigations incollaboration with stakeholders. Be available, when required,



toassist teams working on other shifts.Share OHS knowledge: Developappropriate tools to raise awareness, coach, engage, and advisestakeholders and Health and Safety Committee members on theimportance of prevention.Other duties: Coordinate andfacilitate Health and Safety Committee activities, act as theliaison with the CNESST, and perform any other duties andresponsibilities as assigned.
