Apply food handling and meal service skills as a Dietary Aide supporting residents, staff, and guests at Meighen Health Centre. Work under Food Services leadership.

The Dietary Aide supports secure storage, preparation, production, and distribution within the food service department. This role follows HACCP, sanitation, infection control, and departmental procedures. It also supports timely service, resident safety, customer service, and quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver meals, beverages, nourishment, and special dietary items
- Monitor food and equipment temperatures and maintain service logs
- Set up dining rooms, serveries, carts, and meal service
- Assemble sandwiches, salads, desserts, trays, dishes, and cutlery
- Store, rotate, restock,



clean, and safely operate supplies and equipment

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Completed Food Service Worker and Food Handler programs
- Ability to read, write, and thoroughly understand English
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment and meet physical demands
- Effective communication and ability to deal with others
