You will gain hands-on experience in water and wastewater systems, performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. This role provides opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated team focused on infrastructure improvement and public service. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Respond to service disruptions and perform emergency repairs
- Inspect and repair hydrants, valves,
and watermains
- Install and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Conduct routine field and lab testing, including pressure testing
Requirements:
- Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12)
- Operator in Training certification or ability to obtain
- Minimum one year of experience in water/wastewater operations
- Knowledge of the Ontario Safe Drinking Water Act
- Valid Ontario Class G license, Class DZ preferred
