Lead ultra-high-performance hardware design at Broadcom, owning critical circuits, boards, and product development across the full lifecycle.
As a Staff Hardware Engineer, you will lead a design team while personally owning critical solution elements. You will develop electronic products through inception, validation, production, customer trials, field issues, and sustaining. The work spans BOM creation, vendor negotiations, PCB layout, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities: Lead teams developing ultra-high-performance electronic products
Own critical circuit and board design elements
Create BOMs and participate in vendor negotiations
Develop and validate a product range
Support trials, field issues, and product sustaining
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Eight or more years of experience
Experience placing large, high-powered systems-on-chip
Understanding of advanced silicon and packaging technologies
Deep experience with PCB board layout
Bring hardware leadership, PCB expertise, and lifecycle ownership to Broadcom's complex electronic product development programs.
