Role Description The Web Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications that support DAFK AI’s voice translation products and customer-facing platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, developing and integrating back-end services and APIs, optimizing performance and security, and collaborating with product, design, and AI engineering teams to deliver new features. The role involves troubleshooting issues, improving existing codebases,



and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.

This is a full-time remote role based in Vancouver, BC.

Qualifications

- Strong Web Development and Programming skills, with experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive UI implementation and user-centered design principles.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with servers, databases, and APIs.
- Knowledge of contemporary web technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, RESTful services) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and work in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with AI/ML products, real-time communication tools, or audio/voice technologies is an asset.
