WELDER AND FITTER

Start Date: Immediate

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full time

Salary: Good salary, based on experience.

Employment Conditions: Weekdays and Weekends (as required)

Experience: Minimum 5 years as a structural steel fitter & welder.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Perform welding and fitting operations.
- Fit, align, tack and weld structural steel as required.
- Follow all company safety procedures, welding standards and workplace regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in welding, fitting, steel fabrication.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings.
- Experience with applicable welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
- Work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
