Job Title: Experienced Welder / Millwright (Shop & Field)

About the Role

We are seeking up to two Experienced Welders for immediate work in a shop environment with potential for on-site fieldwork. This is a 4-week position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time role for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality welding and metal fabrication in a shop setting.
- Execute field repairs and site installation work as required.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications accurately.
- Maintain safety standards, clean work areas, and ensure equipment is properly inspected and maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
- Certifications: Journeyman Welder or Journeyman Millwright designation is preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License, a reliable personal vehicle, and a clean Driver’s Abstract are required.




- Communication & Safety: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to safely follow site procedures and coordinate work in hazardous environments.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets / Preferred Certifications

- Standard First Aid / CPR
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09 / CSTS-2020)
- WHMIS 2015
- Additional safety tickets (e.g., Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry) are considered robust assets.

Schedule & Benefits

- Start Date: Immediate
- Initial Duration: 4 weeks (potential for full-time permanent employment based on fit and performance)
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
