Overview

Wendy's is seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures in accordance with safety regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff members; conduct interviews for potential new hires.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation policies, and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to promote positive dining experiences.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in line with hospitality standards.
- Assist in restaurant management tasks including scheduling, reporting, and operational planning as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, including supervising teams.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industries such as hotel or barista roles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interview and select qualified team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required by restaurant hours.

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
