Job Overview

- Wendy’s is seeking dependable Crew Members and Shift Managers to help deliver fast, friendly service and quality food in a clean, welcoming restaurant.

- Crew Members support daily front- and back-of-house operations, including taking orders, preparing food, serving guests, and maintaining sanitation standards.

- Shift Managers help coordinate restaurant operations during their shifts, support and guide team members, and ensure service, food quality, and safety procedures are followed.

- These roles are a good fit for people who enjoy working with a team, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and providing attentive customer service.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, answer questions, take orders, and provide courteous, efficient customer service.

- Use a POS system to enter orders and process transactions;

experience with Micros POS is helpful.

- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, make change, and follow cash-handling procedures.

- Prepare and serve food according to restaurant recipes, portion standards, and food-safety requirements.

- Follow proper food-handling practices, including safe storage, preparation, and temperature-control procedures.

- Keep workstations, kitchen areas, dining spaces, and equipment clean and sanitary.

- Restock supplies and help maintain an orderly,



ready-to-serve restaurant.

- Communicate clearly with coworkers and help the team manage changing priorities during busy periods.

- Recommend menu items when appropriate and support upselling through helpful, guest-focused suggestions.

- Shift Managers additionally help organize shift tasks, support team members, monitor service and food quality, and address routine operational needs.

Experience

- Customer service, cashiering, cash handling, or serving experience is helpful.

- Previous food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience is a plus; training may be provided for role-specific procedures.

- Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices is beneficial.

- Comfort using a POS system is preferred; Micros POS experience is an advantage.

- Basic math skills are needed to process transactions, make change, and follow recipes and portion guidelines.

- Solid time management, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work collaboratively are important for success.

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
