Job Summary AspiringIT is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for a leading nuclear engineering services client supporting Ontario's CANDU fleet.
What you'll do Lead electrical design and engineering change packages for station power systems (Class I–IV, MV/LV distribution, motors, transformers, cabling)
Run power system studies: load flow, short circuit, transients, relay protection and coordination
Specify and select electrical components; support obsolescence and replacement projects
Support field work, commissioning and site issue resolution
Review junior engineers' work and work directly with utility clients
What you bring Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
6+ years of experience, ideally in nuclear or power generation
CANDU design and engineering change experience
Working knowledge of CSA N286, CSA N290.5, CSA C22.1 and IEEE standards
Nice to have Must be eligible for nuclear site security clearance and export-control requirements.
