Pattison Media seeks a News Director to guide journalism across CKPG TV, CKPGToday.ca, and radio stations. You will lead journalists, oversee editorial decisions, and support accurate, compelling storytelling. The position focuses on digital-first strategies, audience growth, coaching, and ethical journalism.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise Video Journalists, anchors, and newsroom staff
Lead editorial decisions across Pattison Media platforms
Coach writing, presentation, storytelling, and performance
Champion digital-first storytelling and audience growth
Uphold the RTDNA Code of Ethics
Requirements: Minimum 10 years of newsroom experience
Demonstrated newsroom leadership experience
Degree or diploma in journalism or related studies preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s licence and flexible-hours availability
